Pallets are on the move from warehouses. They will be delivered to college campuses, schools, offices, homes and other buildings. People are preparing themselves before cold weather becomes consistent. Some areas of the world experience wintry climates for more than one season. They continually stock up on snow and ice melters, deicer products and the like. No one wants to be prevented from backing out of their driveway, flying a plane or walking down the sidewalk or path in front of their home.

Trailers full of ice melt exist and the warehouses that stock such vital chemicals welcome these trailers with open arms. The trailers are dispersed from shipyards and drive to their warehouse destinations where pallets of ice melting compounds are broken down or even reshipped still in pallet form. From the warehouse ice melt can be shipped by the bucket(s) or by the bag(s) also. It all depends on the size surface purchasers need to spread.

Then there's the workforce required in the manufacturing process: machinery, trucks, fuel, employees, etc.

The above aren't claims. They're possibilities because sometimes history repeats itself. Shortages have been faced so anticipating a shortage is necessary. Not because we like it but because it's necessary.
